We are pleased to invite you for a workshop on the use of tools of corpus linguistics in the study of Slavic languages which will be held during CYLAT 2014. The workshop will be conducted by our distinguished guests – prof. Bjorn Wiemer and dr. Ruprecht von Waldenfels. The working languages of the workshop are Polish and Russian.
The workshop will be held at the UNESCO Chair for tranlastion and communication studies at 4 Czapskich str., Cracow (2nd floor) on Friday 4th April 2014 at 3pm.-6pm.

The basic knowledge about query syntax for the National Corpus of Polish (http://nkjp.pl/) or for The Parallel Corpus of Slavic and other languages – ParaSol (http://parasol.unibe.ch/) would be a great asset.
